Dr Trevor Jordan

Trevor Jordan Phd, is an internationally recognised expert on ethics and adoption and served as President of the Management Committee for more than two decades. He was a peer reviewer and regular contributor to the Australian Journal of Adoption. On behalf of Jigsaw, he has provided written and oral submissions to the Senate Inquiry into past forced adoption, responses to the AFIS study in past service responses to adoption, and the AIFS scoping study into future post-adoption service provision, submissions to the review of the Births, Deaths, and Marriages legislation in Queensland, and the recent review of the Commonwealth Electoral Act, particularly with respect to accessing information on behalf of individuals searching for their family of origin, and a written submission to the Prime Minister's Interdepartmental Committee on Intercountry Adoption.
Trevor has also regularly presented keynotes and workshops at the Australian Adoption Conferences and the National Service Provider's annual meetings. He was a community member of the National Intercountry Adoption Advisory Group, attending meetings of the Australian Central Authorities Harmonisation Working Group and Post-Adoption Services Working Group.
As an adoptee, Trevor knows from experience the long-term effects of adoption. He is now semi-retired from his role as an academic and consultant in professional and public ethics.

Caroline is a proud Yuggera woman who has worked in the role of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Practice Leader for the South West Region of Child Safety for the past six years. She has worked for Child Safety for more than a decade, with a robust child protection background with experience in frontline and executive roles. She holds a number of undergraduate and postgraduate qualifications including a Bachelor of Social Work. Caroline has lived experience of adoption and a solid understanding of past and current adoption practices and the needs of those affected by them and her work in the child protection space has given her an advanced knowledge of trauma-informed practice, attachment theory and family support.

Rachel has worked at Jigsaw Qld's Forced Adoption Support Service as a Post Adoption Practitioner for a number of years. She is a valued member of the team and has received a lot of positive feedback from clients that she worked with.
Anna Crockett

Anna brings a range of skills and experience to the Forced Adoption Support Services team gained from her roles in community services including asylum seeker support, homelessness and mental health. She holds a Master of Social Work Studies and began working with people affected by adoption in 2014 at Post Adoption Support Queensland (PASQ) during her first student placement.
